Skyhook is growing rapidly - and we are looking for a Frontend Web Developer who will work with our web applications to improve and implement new features and technologies. Our web based applications provide the front facing interaction to existing and potential customers. The successful candidate thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with attention to every detail from the provided design files to frontend code optimization.

A clear understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and Sass preprocessors (SCSS).You are someone who can take approved designs and make them come to life via clean code and up-to-date standards. You are drawn to tough engineering challenges and have working knowledge of a variety of operating systems. You have knowledge of, or willingness to adapt to working in a Scrum-based Agile environment.

In 2003 we developed an innovative way to obtain location. Using Wi-Fi signals would be faster, more precise and battery-friendly than GPS and cell-towers alone. We foresaw the mass adoption and proliferation of mobile technology that would make our idea useful for every device on the planet. We got to work on collecting the locations of billions of Wi-Fi access points worldwide and building the infrastructure and software to deliver the information.
