We are pleased to announce that Jim Crowley has been promoted to the position of CEO of Skyhook. Jeff Glass will move to Skyhook’s Advisory Board, where he will continue to be an actively engaged company advisor.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with Jeff and we’ve accomplished a tremendous amount under his leadership. Jeff helped to broaden our product offerings while sharpening our focus, all as he led Skyhook through a successful acquisition by TruePosition, a subsidiary of Liberty Media. We will miss his presence and leadership in the office every day, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
As President of Skyhook for the past two years, Jim has played a leading role in the strategic and operational oversight of the business. Jim’s background includes leading roles in successful companies like m-Qube (acquired by Verisign), Turbine (acquired by Warner Bros) and Network Plus, which he helped take public on NASDAQ. Everyone at Skyhook is excited to have Jim’s vision, experience and energy leading us into the future.
With Jim running the show as CEO, Jeff as an advisor and the power of Liberty Media behind us, Skyhook has never been more excited about our future and our next phase of growth, to be driven by our expanding portfolio of location products and our steadfast dedication to being the worldwide leader in enabling rich location and contextual experiences for the mobile world.
