In 2003 we developed an innovative way to obtain location. We realized using Wi-Fi signals would be faster, more precise and battery-friendly than GPS and cell-towers alone. We foresaw the mass adoption and proliferation of mobile technology that would make our idea useful for every device on the planet. We got to work on collecting the locations of billions of Wi-Fi access points worldwide and building the infrastructure and software to deliver the information.

Craig joined TruePosition, Skyhook’s parent company, in 2005, serving as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration from 2005 to early 2014 and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer. Craig’s role was expanded in early 2016 to include the Chief Executive Officer position at Skyhook.
Craig has over twenty years of experience serving technology companies. Prior to joining TruePosition, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of OpenTV Corp. (Nasdaq: OPTV) and Liberty Broadband Interactive Television. He previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at TV Guide, Inc. (formerly United Video Satellite Group) (Nasdaq: TVGIA/UVSGA, prior to its acquisition by Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc.)

As CTO, Rob leads the team charged with developing Skyhook’s technology working with our partners and customers to develop new wireless location solutions. Rob Anderson is one of the leading global experts in wireless location technology with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications. His proven experience in the field, exemplified by his 64 U.S. patents, helps to expand the company’s portfolio of products and services and further establish Skyhook as a leader in location technology.
Prior to joining Skyhook, Rob held systems engineering positions at Lockheed Martin and TRW (now Northrop Grumman), focusing on satellite cellular systems.
Rob Anderson holds both Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
As Chief Technology Evangelist, Kipp works to guide and shape our innovative location intelligence technology. He has spent over 20 years developing technology and strategy for numerous technology startups including NuBridges, PathFire and his own company DirectSight Networks. He’s authored 19 patents for the methods pertaining to Skyhook’s hybrid location technology. Kipp received his BS in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska as well as an MS and ABD in CS from Georgia Tech.
As EVP, Strategy Development & General Counsel, Rod manages all of Skyhook's legal affairs, including contract negotiations, technology and patent licensing, intellectual property development and litigation. He also assists in strategic planning and execution for the company.
Prior to joining Skyhook, Rod was an attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York City and at Ropes & Gray in Boston. He holds a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Colgate University and a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School.
Mike joined Skyhook’s parent company in 2000 serving as the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mike has over 30 years experience in managing startup and middle market companies. Prior to joining Skyhook, Mike held executive positions in both finance and operations at various publicly traded companies. Mike started his career at Ernst and Young where he left as a manager working primarily with early-stage companies. Mike is a CPA and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
As SVP, GM Geospatial Insights Team, David is responsible for designing the next generation of disruptive location technology. Prior to Skyhook, David formed and led all of Catalina Marketing’s mobile efforts, focusing on monetizing one of the world’s largest datasets of consumer purchase history. David has a host of mobile, product leadership and general business experience, including time at Thomson Reuters, Catalina and JP Morgan. David’s education spans both sides of the pond. He has a BA in finance from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Cambridge / Queens College in Cambridge, UK.
Steve is tasked with building partnerships to support Skyhook’s rapidly growing business. Prior to joining Skyhook, Steve was Director of Marketing at edocs, Inc., where he was responsible for the development and execution of the company’s integrated marketing programs and infrastructure. There, Steve generated a fivefold increase of the company’s pipeline and 16 consecutive quarters of revenue growth, leading to the company’s acquisition by Siebel Systems. Steve holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts.
Matt Kojalo has over 15 years of experience in mobile and emerging technologies. At Skyhook, Matt serves as the VP of Worldwide Partners, where he is driving product development and strategic partnerships for our mobile advertising solutions. Prior to joining Skyhook, Matt served as the General Manager of Mobile for Chitika, where he managed monetization with Yahoo and Microsoft/Bing for the targeted search advertising company. Before Chitika, Matt worked for Poynt (a local search app) and MocoSpace (a mobile social network) where he managed monetization for large publishers globally. Matt has been involved in many early ventures and serves on multiple advisory boards. Matt holds a BA in Marketing from Assumption College.
Mike partners with agencies and brands to help them make use of Skyhook’s data. A classically trained marketer, he learned the rigors of brand management while at Kraft Foods and Cadbury Schweppes. Mike has also held executive positions at Madison Avenue icons including BBDO, Y&R, Mullen and The Martin Agency and developed multiple award-winning campaigns seen in over fifty counties worldwide. He has been with Skyhook since 2016 and loved every minute of turning “the blue dot on your phone” into deep insight on consumer behavioral patterns.
Mike is based in the New York market. He earned his BA in English from Randolph-Macon College and his MBA with a Brand Management concentration from Wake Forest University.
